Building your own scenarios

Test access is an ordinary user account for getting to know the tool: you hold the practice conversation but do not edit the scenario. If you want to develop the background prompts yourself, you receive your own prompt studio login on request.

What the editor adds

Take in your own documents

Module description, case vignette, slide deck: the editor reads along and builds the scenario on your material.

Ask more precisely

The assistant in the editor keeps asking until role, attitude, course of the conversation and stopping criteria are clear.

Steer the feedback

You decide what the evaluation pays attention to: subject accuracy, conversation management, clarity of language, handling of objections.

Hand it to students

Finished scenarios can be assigned to a course so that your students work through them on their own.

Two levels of access

The application of the University of Bayreuth runs at zhl-ubt-avatar.de. There are two kinds of accounts, which differ in what you can do with them.

  • Test access (via this site): a user account with a ready-made trial scenario and 30 minutes of practice time. You see the conversation and the evaluation, but no editor.
  • Prompt studio login (on request): an administrative account for your chair or unit. With it you build your own scenarios, upload documents, steer the feedback and pass scenarios on to your students.

How to get a prompt studio login

  1. Try the test access first so that you know how a conversation runs.
  2. Send us a short mail with your subject or chair and your purpose: zhl@uni-bayreuth.de, subject "Prompt studio login".
  3. The ZHL sets up an organisation for you inside the application and invites you as an administrative account. You receive a mail with your login.
  4. After signing in you start in the administration view. How to build a scenario from there and assign it to a course is shown in the handbook for the organisation, chapter 4 (in German).

Guides

Illustrated guides are available under /anleitungen/ on this address. For building your own scenarios and managing courses, see the handbook for the organisation; the overview is the short introduction. The guides are written in German.

No access yet? Test access is free of charge for teachers and students at the University of Bayreuth.
